PRODUCT DETAILS

The Go Power! FBL series is the complete Class T fuse block kit for the battery-to-inverter cable: a heavy-duty DC-rated block, a transparent protective cover, and a Class T fuse in 110, 200, 300 or 400 amps. It is the same fuse block Go Power! ships in its GP-DC inverter install kits and the one RV manufacturers fit at the factory. One block size fits every fuse rating, so you can move up in amperage later with just a fuse change.

Why Class T

Lithium and large AGM battery banks can deliver thousands of amps into a short circuit. A Class T fuse interrupts that fault without arcing or rupturing — something ANL and MIDI fuses are not rated for — which is why ABYC and most inverter manufacturers specify Class T within a few inches of the battery positive terminal.

Built for heavy cable

The base is insulated polyester-reinforced polycarbonate with 5/16″ studs (optional universal terminal lugs) and accepts #6 to 4/0 cable. The clear cover keeps tools and stray leads off the live terminals and lets you see the fuse at a glance.

Built to the standard RV manufacturers install

Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the inverter brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. Backed by a North American support team (part of Dometic).

What's in the box

Fuse block base, transparent cover, mounting hardware and one Class T fuse in the amperage selected. Battery cable sold separately — see the GP-DC inverter install kits for fuse block plus cables.

FAQ
Where does the fuse block go?

In the positive cable between the battery bank and the inverter, as close to the battery positive terminal as practical (ABYC calls for within 7 inches, or 72 inches if the cable is sheathed). The block mounts with screws to a flat surface in the battery compartment.

Why Class T instead of ANL or MIDI?

Class T fuses interrupt very high DC fault currents without arcing. Lithium and large AGM banks can push thousands of amps into a short, beyond what ANL and MIDI fuses are rated to clear safely. Most inverter and lithium battery manufacturers specify Class T.

Can I move up to a bigger inverter later?

Yes. One block fits every fuse rating from 110 A to 400 A, so you only need to change the fuse (and make sure the cable gauge is adequate for the new rating).

What cable does it accept?

#6 AWG up to 4/0 AWG on 5/16-inch studs. Use ring terminals sized for 5/16-inch studs; universal terminal lugs are also available.

Which replacement fuse do I buy later?

The Go Power! F-110, F-200, F-300 or F-400 — or any standard Class T fuse of the same rating.

Is Go Power! the fuse block my RV came with?

Very likely. Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996 and is fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and many other brands; this is the same part the dealer would order.
