PRODUCT DETAILS
The Go Power! GP-DC-BREAKER-KIT-175 connects a 1,500–1,800 W at 12 V (or 2,000–3,000 W at 24 V) inverter to the battery bank with a 175 A resettable DC breaker instead of a fuse — trip it, fix the problem, reset it, no spare fuses to carry. The kit includes the heavy-gauge cable set, tie-downs and a mounting bracket for the breaker.
| Inverter size (12 V) | Kit | Protection | Cable |
|---|---|---|---|
| 200–600 W | GP-DC-KIT1 | 60 A inline fuse | 10 ft #6 AWG |
| 600–1,000 W | GP-DC-KIT2 | 100 A fuse block | 10 ft #4 AWG |
| 1,100–1,800 W | GP-DC-KIT3 or 175 A breaker kit | 200 A fuse / 175 A breaker | 10 ft #2 AWG |
| 2,000–2,500 W | 250 A breaker kit | 250 A breaker | Heavy-gauge set |
24 V inverters draw half the DC current of a 12 V inverter of the same wattage, so size the kit by current: a 1,500 W 24 V unit (~70 A) suits GP-DC-KIT2; 2,000–3,000 W 24 V units (~90–140 A) suit GP-DC-KIT3 or the 175 A breaker kit. Keep DC runs under 10 ft and fuse at the battery.
Built to the standard RV manufacturers install
Go Power! has designed mobile power since 1996 and is the inverter brand fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and other leading RV builders. These are the same installation parts the plants and dealers use, backed by a North American support team (part of Dometic).

FAQ
Breaker or fuse kit?
A breaker doubles as a DC disconnect and resets after a fault; a Class T fuse is cheaper and has a higher interrupt rating. Both meet the manual’s requirement when sized correctly.
Which inverters is the 175 A kit for?
1,500–1,800 W at 12 V (or 2,000–3,000 W at 24 V). Size by DC current: amps ≈ watts ÷ (battery volts × 0.9).
How far from the battery can the inverter be?
Keep DC cables as short as practical — the supplied set is sized for runs up to about 10 ft. Mount the breaker close to the battery positive terminal.
Is Go Power! the kit my RV came with?
Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996 and is fitted at the factory by Jayco, Forest River, Thor and many other brands; these are the same install kits the plants and dealers use.
