The Go Power! GP-MPPT-85/15 is a 15-amp MPPT solar charge controller in a fully sealed, IP68-rated housing for 12V and 24V systems. It tracks the panels' maximum power point at up to 98% efficiency, accepts up to 85V of PV open-circuit voltage, and can be mounted where an ordinary controller cannot — on a boat, under a truck bed, in a wet locker or outside the battery box. 5-year warranty and a North American support team (part of Dometic), now at outlet pricing.
Built for the places other controllers can't go
Most charge controllers are IP30 and need a dry cabinet. The 85/15's potted, sealed enclosure shrugs off spray, dust and vibration, which makes it the right pick for marine, overland and utility-trailer installs where the only mounting point is exposed.

WHAT IT RUNS
Sizing guide for a 12V system: a 15A controller handles about 220W of panels at 12V (440W at 24V). Daily harvest assumes 4.5 peak-sun hours at about 70% of nameplate, which is typical for a flat-mounted RV array. MPPT lets you wire panels in series for less voltage drop and better low-light harvest — keep total open-circuit voltage under 85V. Use 10 AWG between controller and battery.

FAQ
Can it really be mounted outside?
Yes. The IP68 rating means the sealed housing is protected against dust and sustained water immersion, so spray, rain and wash-downs are not a problem. Keep the cable glands pointing down and leave service access to the connections.
Does it work with lithium batteries?
Its default profile is for sealed lead-acid. Many 12V LiFePO4 batteries with a BMS accept a 14.4V sealed/AGM profile, but confirm with your battery manufacturer and the GP-MPPT manual before use. For a dedicated LiFePO4 profile and RV-C, choose the GP-RVC-MPPT-10 or GP-RVC-30-MPPT.
How much solar can I connect?
About 220W at 12V or 440W at 24V, with array open-circuit voltage under 85V — two 12V panels in series is fine, three is not.
What does outlet pricing mean?
Brand-new, unused units sold below regular price while we clear this stock. Full Go Power! warranty support applies; quantities are limited.
MPPT or PWM — which do I need?
PWM is a switch: it connects the panel to the battery and chops the current, so the panel runs at battery voltage and you lose the difference. MPPT converts the panel's higher voltage into extra charge current, harvesting 15–30% more from the same panels, and lets you wire panels in series. For one or two panels on a simple 12V kit, PWM is cost-effective; for 300W or more, lithium batteries, or long cable runs, MPPT pays for itself.
Is Go Power! the controller installed in my RV from the factory?
Very likely, if your coach is a Jayco, Forest River, Thor or many other brands. Go Power! has supplied RV manufacturers since 1996 and its PWM and MPPT controllers are the ones specified on factory solar-prep and solar-equipped coaches, so this is the like-for-like replacement or upgrade.
